Giving the Gift of Better Oral and Physical Health
and Proper Nutrition

Please join us in our commitment to serving the oral hygiene needs of our senior citizens. While hygiene issues continue to plague people with diseases, there is hope, thanks to the efforts of dedicated dental hygienists, progressive long-term care facilities, and loving family and friends. Besides the poor oral health of these people and consequent possible eating/chewing complications, there is conclusive research and evidence of oral disease causing diseases within the body, including diabetes, cardiac disease, and pneumonia.* Preventive oral care has the foresight to improve systemic health and decrease burdens on health care systems and costs.  We collaborate with the PACE program and support the principles of the PACE program and the NORC model.  The main focus of these programs is preventive care.

Although we are very proud of what we have accomplished, we must do more. Many of our patients are people who have no discretionary income to pay for preventive dental care. Therefore, the services we provide to this elderly population are not possible without your ongoing financial support. Equipment alone have cost over $10,000. This does not include administrative costs, supplies, and hiring experienced dental hygienists.

In following Medicaid fee schedule, the charge for each resident seen is $112.80 which covers the cleaning, oral evaluation, fluoride treatment, and house call visit; those with dentures will receive an oral inspection and cleaning of dentures at a reduced fee. This is a small price to pay to make sure our love ones are eating properly while avoiding a whole host of potential health problems. No patient is ever turned down because of their inability to pay.

In the near future, Senior Mobile Dental plans to increase revenue to be able to continue to provide providing mobile preventive care. Our long-term hope for the future is to generate the resources to be able to extend Senior Mobile Dental nationwide and bring better oral health to this neglected population. With your contribution, these individuals can be proud of the teeth they still have.

Senior Mobile Dental is a registered 501(c)3 organization, so all gifts are fully tax-deductible.
