We bring high-quality dental equipment to each facility in order to provide residents the comforts of a familiar environment and the ease of being seen, which is especially important for wheelchair-bound patients.

Our approach in care revolves around individualized treatment. We do not “dig.”
Our hygienists are very careful and gentle to each resident, and will clean their teeth according to personal tolerance. If there is a lot of disease and discomfort present, we would rather perform treatment in smaller increments to restore their health, rather than doing all the deep cleanings at once.
The services we offer include:

Dental Cleanings
Senior Mobile Dental’s Colorado-licensed Dental Hygienists regularly administer cleanings and conduct comprehensive screenings to ensure that professional, gentle care will be delivered to our patients. The cleanings will vary according to each individual’s need and tolerance level.

Note: Dentures and partials will be cleaned and, for the edentulous, soft tissue can be inspected at a discounted rate.

Fluoride Varnish
Part of our services includes fluoride varnish application. Due to the complexity of each person’s specific health, many medications cause the mouth to become dry, resulting in higher decay rates and increased tooth sensitivity. A fluoride varnish adheres to the tooth structure for a longer period of time, providing additional protection.

Oral Inspection
Most requests are to screen for acute problems, issues that are causing pain and infection. We routinely check for:

• Visual dental decay
• Oral cancer/suspicious lesions
• Gingivitis
• Periodontitis
• Dental infection
• Ill-fitting dentures/partials. 

We clean all dentures with an ultrasonic cleaner.

Note: All procedures and findings will be reported to a Dentist of record, or we can make referrals to an appropriate dental professional. We report all of our findings to the power of attorney (POA) and facility to make their decisions for care.

Mobility
We transport our mobile dental equipment to each facility to provide the best possible professional care and comfort for our patients. We have state-of-the-art mobile equipment which includes a portable chair, dental unit (which houses the suction, water, polisher, etc.), light, denture cleaner, and other instruments.
 
Senior Mobile Dental utilizes an electronic patient record keeping system at all times to ensure timely and periodic treatment. We maintain the records by collaborating with the facility, attending physician, nursing staff, family members, and local dental providers from the community. Standard of care and age appropriate clinical services are provided to all patients every six months. Emergency referrals is also available.
